Giorgio Chiellini, former Juventus and Italy international, did not spare any praise for Cristiano Ronaldo, this Thursday, on the podcast 'The BSMT', in which he recalled several highlights of his long career as a player.

"It was an honor to have been captain of Juventus alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. It was a unique opportunity. I have to admire him because he was always good in the group. He's not like the others, but he's never missing when needed, not even at team dinners," began by recalling Chiellini, quoted by the portal Calciomercato, continuing.

"Cristiano is someone respectful and almost obsessive in the way he takes care of his body and in preparing for games. He wants to score and he wants to win. I was impressed with his personality in all the most difficult games: he had a crazy desire to shake the world and he wanted to show that he was stronger than all of Real Madrid," concluded the former central defender who is seen as one of the great symbols of Juventus.

It should be noted that Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid in the summer of 2018 to sign for Juventus, an Italian club that he represented for three seasons before returning to Manchester United. For the Turin team, he won two Serie A, one Italian Super Cup and two Italian Cups, in addition to having scored a total of 101 goals in 134 games.
