Abel Ferreira overcomes the 'Portuguese shock' in the Brazilian Cup

Palmeiras put themselves in a privileged position to reach the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil, thanks to the triumph won at the reception to Botafogo-SP, by 2-1, in the first leg of the third round.
The team led by Portuguese coach Abel Ferreira broke the tie, at Allianz Parque, by 2-1, thanks to a precise shot by Rony, but the men of compatriot Paulo Gomes refused to 'throw in the towel', and managed to restore equality, at 90 minutes, through Patrick Brey.
However, the story was not yet fully told, and, just eight minutes later, it was the turn of Estevão, a forward who is only 17 years old, to make his foot taste, thus sentencing, once and for all, the final result.
Palmeiras and Botafogo-SP will face each other again on May 23, Thursday, at 11 pm (Continental Portugal time), this time, in Santa Cruz, where the team that will move forward in the competition will be decided.
