Al Hilal wins and Jesus shoots: "My contract ends on May 31st"

Al Hilal took another step towards winning the Saudi Arabian league title on Friday with a 3-0 victory at Al Taawon, and Jorge Jesus was keen to point out after the final whistle that his contract is nearing its end.

"What I said is that we are ready for any opponent we have to face. We don't know when the [King's Cup] final will be played, but my contract expires on May 31. When the date is set, we will be there," said Jorge Jesus at a press conference, quoted by Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiah. Jorge Jesus's statements are based on a minor controversy caused by the statements he made after Al Hilal reached the King's Cup final, claiming that the final would be on May 31.
