Feirense ends the 'nightmare' and still dreams of staying up

Feirense put an end to a winless ‘fast’ that had been going on since the reception to Nacional, on February 18, by receiving and beating União de Leiria, by 1-0, a result that keeps them alive in the fight for their place in the league.
The goal that made the difference, in the match played at Estádio Marcolino Castro, took place at 38 minutes, when, after a ball was lofted into the penalty area, Guilherme Ferreira headed it to Henrique Jocú, who, in turn, shot it into the back of the net, past Pawel Kieszek.
With this win, Feirense now has 30 points, which puts them in 16th place in the II League, provisionally one point away from Oliveirense, the team that is just below the ‘waterline’, before the reception to Tondela.
União de Leiria, on the other hand, is in 11th place, with 39 points, at a time when there are only two more rounds to play until the end of this season.
