Nacional beats FC Porto B and remains focused on promotion

Nacional took another important step towards promotion to the I Liga this Sunday, by beating FC Porto (4-0) at Choupana, moving into second place alone, awaiting the outcome of AVS, with whom they have been 'hand in hand' in the II Liga runner-up position behind leaders Santa Clara.
At 17 minutes, Chuchu Ramírez opened the scoring and, soon after, Witi appeared in the right place to score the second for the Madeira team, with no further changes until half-time.
The Dragons' B team, coached by António Folha, threatened to reduce the lead, but it would be Tiago Margarido's team that would end any doubts with the final 4-0, with Ramírez's brace (85') and Dudu's goal at 90+2'.
With this result, Nacional now has 65 points in second place, two behind leaders Santa Clara and three more than AVS, who will play Mafra this Monday. Marítimo is in fourth place with 60, still fighting for promotion. FC Porto B is seventh with 44 points.
