João Félix and Simeone together at Atlético? Spaniards warn it is possible
Portuguese international is on loan to Barcelona, with a return to Madrid in sight.

João Félix's transfer from Atlético de Madrid to Barcelona, at the end of the summer transfer window, was one of the most talked about, especially considering the context of criticism he faced while playing for the Spanish capital team. However, a possible return after the end of the loan is on the table.
According to the newspaper AS, although many consider it impossible, seeing the Portuguese international working again under the orders of the Argentine coach is considered a "real option", given that the "colchoneros" may want to count on the forward for next season's squad. For this, the coach and the athlete would have to put behind them the problems that have aggravated the relationship between them, since they have been together since 2019.
Before moving to the Camp Nou emblem, João Félix extended his contractual link at Atlético de Madrid until 2029, and the Catalans are not obliged to buy the player at the end of this season, at a time when he is not seen as a key player for Xavi Hernández.
It is worth remembering that the ex-Benfica faced Atlético de Madrid twice, wearing the Barça jersey, and ended up scoring (and being decisive) in both matches, in a season in which he has scored ten goals and six assists so far.
