Deadlock for João Félix. Barcelona won't buy him... and Atlético doesn't want him

The impasse surrounding the near future of João Félix, a player whose loan to Barcelona by Atlético de Madrid ends in just over a month, has been installed, with no solution in sight for its continuity.
According to Tuesday's edition of the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the president of the Catalans, Joan Laporta, is a fan of the qualities of the Portuguese international, but hesitates to proceed with the acquisition, mainly due to the poor performance that he has been presenting on the field.
To this, we must add the fact that the Catalan emblem is going through one of the most delicate moments in history, from a financial point of view, so it cannot pay the 60 million demanded by the eternal rival.
On the other hand, adds the publication, the Colchoneros do not want the former Benfica back, especially given the bad relationship he has with the coach, Diego Simeone, as a result of the various episodes between them in recent years.
In this sense, the Madrid team is now hoping that João Félix will have a good campaign in the next European Championship, in the service of the main national team, so that he can gain value and thus gain more interested parties.
