Official: Villas-Boas takes over the SAD portista after the Cup final
FC Porto informed the CMVM that the General Meeting of shareholders was scheduled for May 28.

Through the CMVM, the SAD Portista called for the Ordinary General Meeting on May 28, which will serve to empower André Villas-Boas in the society, among other points. The meeting will take place in the Auditório do Estádio do Dragão, at 11:30 am.

This Tuesday morning, Pinto da Costa guaranteed that he would go to Jamor and would be in office until then: "I do not ask for resignation, it is not to escape or for them to say that it is a noble act. It is in the interests of FC Porto. I think and I am convinced, and many people will understand, that my presence with the team at the end of the Portuguese Cup, could be a help", he said.
Villas-Boas criticized this choice. "I could not finish this speech without appealing to the good sense of FC Porto's SAD. Your resignation would never be considered an act of escape, but a noble act, which would elevate you. The club does not have two presidents, it has a president elected by the express will of the members in a change", he said.
