Injury could keep Hafnaoui from defending 400m free title
Tunisian swimmer Ayoub Hafnaoui, reigning Olympic champion in the 400m freestyle, said today that he is injured and may not participate in the Paris2024 Olympic Games.

The president of the Tunisian Olympic Committee, Mehrez Boussayene, confirmed the uncertainty about Hafnaoui's participation in the Games, which will take place from July 26 to August 11, but recalled that the most important thing is the athlete's well-being.
"More than the medals, we want above all the well-being of this young man, who has given us so much joy. He will have many great competitions ahead of him," said the president about Ayoub Hafnaoui, world champion in the 800 and 1,500 meters at the 2023 World Championships.
