Expected outcome: Neves and Jorge Jesus are crowned Saudi champions

Victory over the last-placed team allows them to celebrate the title with three more rounds to play.

Expected outcome: Neves and Jorge Jesus are crowned Saudi champions
Al Hilal were crowned Saudi Arabian champions on Saturday after beating Al Hazem (4-1) on matchday 31 of the championship. Jorge Jesus and Rúben Neves' team thus celebrate the conquest of a title that seemed destined for them for a long time.  With three matchdays to go, Al Nassr, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Otávio and Luís Castro, can no longer reach the 89 points achieved by Al Hilal.  This is, moreover, the first Saudi champion title for Jorge Jesus, who had already played for Al Hilal in the 2018/19 season.  Faced with the last-placed team, which had the Portuguese Tozé as a starter, Al Hilal even appeared on the field somewhat disconnected, but had no problem signing... a rout.  Mitrovic, from a penalty, opened the scoring in the 15th minute, with Selemani (34') restoring the draw 20 minutes later, but only for a short time. A caricature own goal by Al Juwaid gave the home team the advantage again, who scored two more goals in a row before the break through Mitrovic (45'+3), once again, and Milinkovic-Savic (45'+6).  In the second half, the team led by Jorge Jesus limited themselves to managing and even saw Al Hazem score, but the VAR disallowed what would be the visitors' second goal.  All things considered, Al Hilal won the title with three more matchdays to go and reached the 89-point mark. Al Nassr, second place, can only reach 86 in the best-case scenario.  As for the track record, this is the 19th title for Al Hilal, who regain their status after Al Ittihad were champions last season and who increase the distance at the top of the most successful teams, now with 11 more titles than their rivals Al Nassr.  It should be noted that Al Hilal and Al Nassr will play the final of the Saudi Arabian King's Cup this May, but the date has yet to be defined.

Preview

Al Hilal, with Jorge Jesus and Rúben Neves, can be crowned Saudi champions on Saturday afternoon. To do so, they only need a draw at home to Al Hazem, who also have the Portuguese Tozé, on matchday 31 of the Saudi League.  With Al Nassr nine points behind, and only three matchdays to go until the end of the championship, the current leaders only need one point to confirm an outcome that has been expected for a long time.  Follow all the incidents of the match between Al Hilal and Al Hazem live from 4 pm on Desporto ao Minuto
