Benfica could give Gianluca Prestianni his debut against Arouca
The Argentine winger did not play for the B team this Friday.

Argentine winger Gianluca Prestianni could be hours away from making his first-team debut. A week after Sporting won the national title and, as such, Benfica lost the chance to win any trophy this season, Prestianni could earn a chance.
He arrived in January, aged just 18, for nine million euros, plus two million for objectives, and has been playing for the B team. He has six games, one goal scored (from a penalty) and one assist.
Prestianni did not play in the last match, this Friday, in which Benfica B beat Belenenses, at Estádio do Restelo. This could be an indication that he will be an option for Roger Schmidt in the main team, against Arouca, on Sunday.
Nélson Veríssimo also hinted, in statements to Sport TV+, when questioned about Prestianni's absence. “It was within the relationship that exists in which there are players who train with the A team. Sometimes, in the case of Luca [Prestianni], the coach [Schmidt] understands that he should come, others understand that the moment is not right, but it is part of the dynamics of the teams.”
