Stephan Eustáquio lost his father on Friday, at the age of 56. This comes after the FC Porto midfielder lost his mother in April last year. A difficult time for the Portuguese-Canadian, who has the support of the Porto fans.
Questioned about the situation, in relation to the absences for the game against Boavista, Sérgio Conceição revealed that the midfielder is out of the game, unlike João Mário.
"There are four who are injured. João Mário is much better and will be called up. Regarding Eustáquio, we had the bad news yesterday. I had the particularity of going to his house. These are moments that are not easy for anyone. The group is with him. Everything he needs, besides teammates and coach, he has friends. There is little to say. Feel that pain with Stephan and be available. Companionship and solidarity. He will certainly not be there tomorrow. He is out", he said.
