Länk says goodbye to Coimbra with victory over Penafiel after a turnaround
Länk Vilaverdense said goodbye to Coimbra today with a 2-1 victory over Penafiel, in a game of the 33rd round of the II Football League, with a turnaround in the score, after losing very early.

Penafiel, who dominated practically throughout the first half, opened the scoring at five minutes, with a header by Rúben Pereira, following an indirect free kick.
The Minho team tried to react, but it was again the team from the Douro that came close to scoring, with a shot by Chico Teixeira, in the marking of a direct free kick, to which Carlos Paulo responded with a good save.
Länk Vilaverdense's best chance came just before half-time, at 44 minutes, by André Silva, who, already in the area, in a frontal position for the goal, tried a 'hat' on goalkeeper Manuel Baldé, who deflected the ball over the end line.
In the second half, we saw a shared game, with greater dominance by Länk Vilaverdense, who reached the tie at 65 minutes by Bruno Silva, in a move in which goalkeeper Manuel Baldé makes an incomplete save and releases the ball, allowing the sure shot by the player from the Minho team.
More dangerous, the team from the Braga district had several goal opportunities, one of them at 76 minutes, by Sherwin, who, with a pass from Gonçalo Teixeira, shot just wide of the post, after a deflection from an opponent.
At 89 minutes, Boubacar, who had already tried unsuccessfully to shoot from afar, made a run of several meters and before the half-moon 'shoots' hard and placed, causing the ball to enter the goal of Manuel Balde, who still touched the ball.
With this victory, the eighth of the season, Länk Vilaverdense left the last position of the II League, in exchange with Belenenses, both with 26 points [the Minho team was punished with the withdrawal of a point due to late payment of salaries], while Penafiel maintains the 13th position, with 38 points.
