"They thought Sporting had an inferior squad and we gave an answer"

Debut: "It will undoubtedly be an unforgettable day for me. I have worked many years for this. I was at Sporting for 7 years. I have been in football for 12 years waiting for this moment. It is a dream to be here, I still can't believe it. May there be many more."
Conversation with Adán and Israel before the game: "I found out that I would probably play when Franco got injured. I prepared myself mentally. Mister Amorim and Mister Vidal helped me. Adán gave me advice and so did Franco. They put me at ease and I just came here and did my job.
What it means to be a champion: "This is an incredible group. I have spent more time with them this year and they have integrated me in an incredible way. I can only thank them because they are fantastic players and people.
Was the atmosphere in the group the key to success? "Yes, of course. At the beginning of the season, everyone thought that Sporting had a weaker squad than the others and we showed them that we have an incredible squad. They can say whatever they want, we are national champions."
Future: "That is my goal, to be a starter at Sporting. I have been saying this since I was 12, which was when I started my connection with Sporting. I hope to stay for many more years because this is where I am happy."
