Two records achieved: "The record for points and wins was a goal that we could achieve this season and we ended up doing it. We gave Estoril a chance and we controlled the game. We had some difficulties in creating great opportunities, but we were clearly superior. We were very serious in our approach to the game and we didn't concede any goals. I'm going home very happy.

Difficulties: "We already knew, the wind also made it difficult, but we had control of the game. Guitane with some exits, but otherwise we were very competent, we created some chances, but we didn't finish well. We played a very complete game after all the parties and we delivered."

Turning the chip: "They trained well, but obviously this doesn't go so well, with the party and the importance of the title. I was expecting it, but we didn't lower the intensity, we were competent and now we have a game at home to celebrate with our fans and increase the number of points and close the championship for good. We can't concede goals, we have to celebrate and then yes, turn the page."

Meaning of being able to give Sporting a double, 22 years later: "It's the same meaning as for any Sporting fan. After this season, we have to give our all to make it more complete. If we don't win [the Portuguese Cup], against a great club [FC Porto] and a great coach [Sérgio Conceição], we'll feel like something is missing, it won't be the same."

Debuts of Diogo Pinto and Miguel Menino: "Diogo Pinto didn't notice anything, he was very good with his feet hitting the ball in front, he didn't surprise, but the whole team helped. Menino is someone who grew up in the Academy and there are some who sometimes have to go elsewhere and come back, but the way he worked and helped us in training... he's a champion with all the merit. The Academy is not talked about much, but a lot of our work comes from there. Next season? We'll see, we have to close this one and then we'll think about the next one."
