Rúben Amorim admits: "I know Ugarte and Palhinha will be upset..."

Rúben Amorim acknowledged this Saturday that Sporting felt the absence of Morten Hjulmand in the victory against Estoril (1-0), in the 33rd round of the I League. In a press conference, the Sporting coach pointed out the growth of several players and stated that the Danish international is more complete than Manuel Ugarte or João Palhinha.
"Nuno Santos came from Rio Ave and has been here for four years, the player is much better. Pote is the same. All these players. Morita is a different player today... Then Hjulmand, when we were crying for Palhinha and Ugarte.... Scouting has to show three times that he is the right player and credit to scouting.
"When we got here. I love Palhinha and Ugarte, but I would say that Hjulmand is the most complete player to play in that position. I know they will be upset, I certainly don't know their favourite coach anymore, but Hjulmand... It's that luck, that connection with scouting, everyone in the academy understands the philosophy of the game. It helps to grow", concluded the Lions coach.
