Messi furious with new MLS rule in the midst of Inter Miami's victory
Argentinian international was left 'blank', in the triumph over CF Montréal.

Inter Miami continued their best start to an MLS season with a 3-2 win over the CF Montreal on Saturday night, making it five wins in a row.
However, it wasn't all smooth sailing, especially for Lionel Messi, who not only failed to score but also fell foul of a new MLS rule which states that if the referee has to stop play for more than 15 seconds due to an injury, the player who suffered the injury has to leave the field for two minutes.
That's what happened to the Argentina international, who was caught by a late challenge from George Campbell towards the end of the first half and required treatment on the field for a knock to his knee.
The forward was then forced to watch from the sidelines as a free-kick was taken in a dangerous position where he would have been standing and he couldn't resist a dig at the new rule to the television cameras, saying: "These kind of rules... come on."
Still, Inter Miami got the win, which means they remain top of the Eastern Conference standings for now, on 27 points, three more than second-placed FC Cincinnati, who have a game in hand.
