'War' declared on the new Santiago Bernabéu: "It's illegal"
Association has already moved forward with "legal actions" against Real Madrid's 'home'.

The renovated Santiago Bernabéu is internationally recognized as one of the main stages of world football. However, not everyone shares this enthusiasm, which culminated in the creation of the "Association of People Harmed by the Bernabéu".
The movement is rising up against "the negative impacts of the remodeling project" of Real Madrid's 'home' and the "conversion of it into a mega-shopping and entertainment center", and has already carried out "legal actions" due to the impact that this has had on the lives of those who live nearby.
At issue is the "change of use of the stadium", which now hosts various sports, resulting in a "substantial increase in annual events", which has gone from 35 to... "around 300", which will mean "five to six events per week".
As a result, the initiative complains, "neighbors, shopkeepers and visitors will have to use the planned paid parking", in addition to the fact that the traffic will be "constant". Not to mention the "private use tunnel", which has limited circulation.
There is also the "degradation of the neighborhood" due to the "crowds of people", the "noise around the stadium and during events" and the "increase in crime", namely in terms of "robberies and drug dealing".
In this sense, the objective is to "paralyze the work and withdraw the illegal project", which is seen as a "threat" to those who live next to the venue, who are thus seeking to "fight to protect their neighborhood".
