"This Real Madrid stood up against the worst of football"

The Madrid City Council was, at the end of the morning of this Sunday, the stage of the celebrations of Real Madrid for the conquest of what was the 36th Spanish champion title in history, which motivated an authentic 'flood' of fans.
Upon arriving at the venue, the president of the merengue team, Florentino Pérez, spoke to the crowd, assuming pride in the conquest and recalling the circumstances surrounding which this was achieved, following the injuries suffered by some of the main pieces of the squad under the orders of Carlo Ancelotti.
"I want to thank the president of the community for welcoming us with so much affection. Here is La Liga number 36, a very special title, because it was won with the values of our shield", he began by stating, in statements reproduced by the Spanish newspaper Marca.
"Everything we have achieved in these 122 years, we have achieved with humility, respect, solidarity and fair play. It is very difficult to overcome the adversities we have suffered this season, and this team has risen to the worst of football, which is injuries", he continued.
"Here are Éder Militão, Thibaut Courtois and David Alaba, who were an example of overcoming. This team overcame a situation that seemed irreversible", he added, having been toasted with a 'thunderous' ovation.
