"Bench will not be filled". Super Dragões react to searches
Blue and white claque regrets what happened and leaves a warning before the derby against Boavista.

The Super Dragões fan club reacted this Sunday to the searches at Porto Comercial and the Loja do Associado at the Estádio do Dragão, guaranteeing that the "stands will not be filled" against Boavista later, after "tickets" were "seized" for the match related to the 33rd and penultimate round of the I Liga.
"In view of the circumstances, since it is not possible to determine which tickets have already been given to groups and/or nuclei, the Futebol Clube do Porto was asked to reverse and cancel all tickets issued under the aforementioned Protocol. The due clarifications will certainly be provided regarding the procedure to be adopted for the return of the tickets already delivered and cancelled", the statement reads, which continues.
"We cannot fail to regret what happened, as this is the first time in history that the stands will not be filled. We are fully convinced that everything will be clarified in due course", the Super Dragões conclude.
The searches take place hours before FC Porto, third placed in the I Liga, with 66 points, receives its 'neighbour' Boavista, 14th, with 31, starting at 8:30 pm, in the Porto derby of the 33rd and penultimate round, refereed by Artur Soares Dias, from the Porto association.
Operation Praetorian investigates the incidents that occurred at the General Assembly (AG) of FC Porto, on 13 November 2023, with the Public Ministry arguing that the Super Dragões fan club intended to "create a climate of intimidation and fear", so that the revision of the statutes "in the interest" of the then 'blue and white' board, led by Pinto da Costa, would be approved.
On 31 January this year, the PSP arrested 12 people - including two FC Porto employees and the leader of the Super Dragões, Fernando Madureira, who remains in preventive detention, together with Hugo Carneiro.
The crimes in question are offences against physical integrity in the context of a sports show or an event related to the sports phenomenon, coercion and aggravated threat, public incitement to a crime, throwing objects or liquid products and also an attack on freedom of information.
