Miguel Albuquerque congratulates Nacional for the "much desired promotion to the I League"
The president of the Regional Government of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, today dedicated a message on social media to congratulate Nacional for the "exciting victory" that allowed the "much desired promotion to the I Football League".

"I congratulate the players, the technical team, the managers, the members and the supporters of Alvinegros for this extraordinary achievement", wrote Miguel Albuquerque on the social network Facebook.
The president of the Madeiran executive also highlighted the importance of today's triumph at Tondela's home, by 3-2, by stating that it is "a true pride" for the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The president of the Portuguese Professional Football League, Pedro Proença, was another official entity to congratulate the island emblem and also sent a brief message of congratulations.
"Liga Portugal, through President Pedro Proença, congratulates the Madeiran emblem for this sporting achievement", can be read on the official website of the Portuguese Professional Football League.
Nacional today secured promotion to the League after a 3-2 victory against Tondela, which was combined with the 0-0 draw of AVS at Leixões' home, with the Madeirans (second) now having 68 points, while the team led by Jorge Costa, who is in third position, has 64 points, when there is only one more round to play.
