After his resounding defeat against Tabilo in the third round of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia in Rome, Novak Djokovic spoke again about the episode of the water bottle that hit him on Friday night while he was signing autographs. He hinted that he is not 100% after the incident.

"It was like I was out of balance and coordination, like a different player. I haven't done any checks yet, but I will. I thought I was fine, but I'm a little worried. It was an accident, but today I was completely down," said the Serbian.

"Everything has to be better for me to have at least a chance to win Roland Garros and the Olympics. Is Paris at risk because of the bottle issue? I haven't done any tests. Right now, I feel like I should do it, so.... I'll do it and we'll see. Let's see what's going on," he continued.

"It was a very unfortunate situation. It was an accident. I felt a very strong blow to the head. After that, I received medical assistance. I spent half an hour, an hour with nausea, dizziness, loss of blood. I managed to sleep well. I had a headache. The next day or yesterday I was quite well, so I thought everything was fine. Maybe it is fine. Maybe it's not. It's a bit worrying," concluded the ATP number one.
