It was the 85th minute when Roger Schmidt decided to take Rafa Silva off the field and give the young João Rêgo his debut. Playing his last game for the Eagles at the Estádio da Luz, the forward, who joined the reds in the 2016/17 season, left the pitch to intense applause from the fans and a standing ovation from the stands.
