Feeling of losing the guarantee of staying at the end of the game: "We gave it our all and it wasn't this time. It will have to be next week."
Boavista suffering more than usual: "Our idea was to protect the players who were at risk of exclusion a little bit, but never with the thought of making it easy. Nothing like that. As you saw, we gave a great response against a great rival. When that's the case, it's beautiful to see. Whether it's 20, 25 or 30 players, we're available to give everything for the club. That's the mystique we want to pass on to the younger ones. What we showed today was there for all to see."
Thought after the goal: "We didn't play against just any team. We played against FC Porto, which is a great team in our league. But I think we fought well and sometimes we have to suffer. To be successful in life, you have to suffer. We were close, we didn't make it, but we'll have to make it next week. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to these people who deserved this and much more today. Thank you to them for always being with us. Next week, if all goes well, we'll be celebrating against them."
