Premier League 'calls' for Pedro Gonçalves and Sporting has already left a warning
Sporting insist that they will only release the Portuguese international if his release clause is paid.

A central figure in the path towards winning the national title, with 11 goals and 12 assists at the end of the 31 rounds in which he played, Pedro Gonçalves continues to generate covetousness, especially in England.
This Monday, the newspaper A Bola writes that Aston Villa, the Premier League's sensational team (occupying the fourth position, which is worth access to the Champions League, with only two rounds left to play), has been following the Portuguese international's performances with particular attention.
The same publication emphasizes that, however, the management led by Frederico Varandas will have already made it known that it only accepts releasing the 25-year-old player upon payment of the 80 million euros that are included in the termination clause.
The forward, it is recalled, arrived at Alvalade in the summer of 2020, coming from Famalicão, in exchange for 6.5 million euros for 50% of the economic rights, and that, in the meantime, the club has already invested another seven million euros to increase this percentage to 90%.
