Dietmar Hamann defended, this Sunday, that Bayern Munich should seriously consider the possibility of selling Harry Kane, less than a year after having paid almost 100 million euros to Tottenham to acquire him.

"The club sold many shirts. It was the most resounding reinforcement. The club would admit that it was a mistake, in "quotes. It is possible to argue that it was a mistake (...). Internally, I would clearly ask the question. Would they be better positioned with 100 million euros in the bank and with him back on the island?", he began by stating.

"Bayern Munich scored more goals without Kane, last year, than with him, this year. It also had its price. It is a very high salary, and it cost more than 100 million euros", added the former German international, on the television station Sky Sport.

"Haaland left and we said 'Everything is collapsing, in Dortmund'. Then, they should have won the Bundesliga, the following year. Bellingham is leaving and you say 'For God's sake, how are they going to continue?'. Now, they are in the Champions League final", he added.
