FC Porto took, this Sunday, a potentially 'giant' step towards securing third place in the I League, as a result of the victory achieved in the closing match of the 33rd round of the I League, against Boavista, by 2-1.
The new president of the blue and whites, André Villas-Boas, watched the Invicta derby in the stands of the Estádio do Dragão, next to his predecessor, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, and, after the referee, Artur Soares Dias, from the Porto Football Association, blew the final whistle, made a point of going down to the locker room.
This Monday, the club released images showing the former coach greeting Mehdi Taremi (the author of the winning goal, eight minutes after 90), Zé Pedro (who also scored), Evanilson and Gonçalo Borges.
