Ricardo Velho overtakes Franco Israel and is the goalkeeper of the month in the I League

The Liga Portugal announced, in the form of a press release issued through the official platforms at the end of the morning this Monday, that Ricardo Velho was elected the best goalkeeper to play in the main tier of national football, in April.
The 25-year-old player thus sees recognition for a month in which he helped Farense to record two wins, a draw and a defeat at the end of four rounds played, conceding four goals and making several decisive saves that turned out to be fundamental.
The Famalicão player collected a total of 34.72% of the votes from the coaches who play in the I Liga, which allowed him to leave behind the competition of Franco Israel, from Sporting (with 14.58%) and Jonathan, from Rio Ave (with 12.50%).
Ricardo Velho confirms, moreover, that this is indeed one of the most successful seasons of his entire career, since this is the third time he has taken home this trophy, after having done so in December and February.
