"The possibility of Roger Schmidt's termination should be on the table"
Varandas Fernandes also asks Benfica to "respect" the fans.

Varandas Fernandes, former vice-president of Benfica, gave an interview to Antena 1 on Monday, in which he defended that Roger Schmidt has to be "open" to the possibility of an eventual "termination agreement" of the contract.
"Those who are in the SAD, with greater proximity, better assess the situation, what the results are and the conclusions of that same analysis. Now, for those who are outside, like me, there should be a possibility of a termination agreement on the table", he said, before addressing the supporters' protest.
"The members who are in that curve are as much members as the others, and, if the members are not satisfied with the club's management, with the performances or with what is happening, they must be respected. Now, this dissatisfaction has to be interpreted, as well as this sadness in the face of the results and the less successful performances", he said.
"What I think there will have to be, on the part of the management, is a dialogue and a pedagogy, but these behaviors are emotional reactions, which reflect those moments of indignation that we all have", completed the former leader.
