The Gunners are currently top of the Premier League by a point from the Citizens, who have a game in hand. However, the Australian head coach has distanced himself from any suggestion that he will be influenced by the title race.
"If you go on social media, 99 per cent of them want Tottenham to lose but please don't tell me that's the real world. If it is, you need help," he said, as reported by Football.London.
"I understand the rivalry but I will never understand someone wanting their own team to lose. People can feel however they want but I have been consistent and strong in my belief that it's important for this football club to be the best that it can be.
"All this other stuff about bragging rights is irrelevant to me. We've got a game tomorrow that we want to win. Do you think the majority of our supporters don't want us to win? I don't see it that way. They will create the atmosphere that they always create."
