"A slander". Dinamo Bucharest assures that it has Edgar Ié and not the twin
Romanian club says it has "clear evidence" about the identity of former Sporting player.

Dinamo Bucharest issued, early on Monday afternoon, an extensive statement in which it says it has no doubts that the player it has in its ranks is Edgar Ié, and not his twin brother, Edelino Ié, contrary to what was reported.
"A falsehood, a slander, a cancerous attack on the club. A false news item, which appeared on Facebook on the day of the game against UTA Arad, was promoted within a few hours by the Romanian media and multiplied in the international press, to the point of BBC, Marca or Record", one can read.
"To say that Dinamo Bucharest doubts that it did not sign Edgar Miguel Ié, but his twin brother, Edelino Miguel Ié, is a lie, a slander and a cancerous attack on the club. Dinamo Bucharest signed Edgar Miguel Ié, a community player, through a firm of agents recognized at European level", it continues.
"We are talking about transparency and legality, first of all. Edgar Miguel Ié received an international transfer certificate issued by the Turkish Federation, verified by the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) and FIFA, was registered by the Professional Football League (LPF), received a registration certificate from the General Inspectorate of Immigration (IGI), clear evidence that our state has records of his stay in Romania", it concludes.
