Boavista pays off debt to Moreirense for Ibrahima Camara's transfer

A source from the 'chess' club told Lusa agency today that the recently elected administration of the SAD presided over by Fary Faye settled the process, which had been filed on February 29, still during Vítor Murta's term, in the Guimarães Enforcement Court.

Ibrahima Camará, 25, swapped Moreirense for Boavista in the summer of 2022 and has already accumulated 44 matches in the service of the Bessa emblem, 16 of which this season.

Boavista is in 14th place in the I League, with 31 points, one more than Estrela da Amadora, 15th, and two more than Portimonense, 16th, in a play-off access position for maintenance, fighting with these clubs to escape relegation on the 34th and final matchday.

The 'chess players' will host the already relegated Vizela, while the 'tricolors' will face Gil Vicente in Reboleira and the Algarveans will visit their 'neighbor' Farense, in matches that have not yet been scheduled by the Portuguese Professional Football League (LPFP).

Far from these accounts for permanence, Moreirense accumulates 52 points and already knows that it will finish in sixth place, the last to access the 2024/25 edition of the League Cup.
