"Viktor Gyokeres? Sporting needed players with a lot of hunger"

Luís Neto gave an interview to Sport TV, this Monday, in which he took the opportunity to address not only the moment of Sporting, but also the impact of Viktor Gyokeres in the success of this season, already crowned with the title of national champion.
“Viktor fell into a place where he had a very big impact with the fans and knows how to deal with it very well. He is the differentiating element. He has a physical strength that there are not many words to explain, he makes a huge cadence of sprints", he began by saying in statements quoted in O Jogo.
"He is a player to challenge the defenses. He has something empathetic with all the players in front, be it Trincão or Paulinho... The last two complement each other very well", he stressed afterwards.
"When we suffer high pressure, we can throw a long ball outside to Viktor and the team goes up. He is a player with a lot of hunger. I remember a Cup game in which I even scored [in the 8-0 rout against Dumiense], when he came in it was already 4-0, but he didn't go to play around. He went to play with everything. Sporting needed players with a lot of hunger to be champions”, he concluded.
