Neto and the relationship with Rafa Silva: "When Sporting plays with Benfica..."

In the interview given to Sport TV, this Monday, Luís Neto was challenged to address the departure of Rafa Silva from Benfica, after eight uninterrupted seasons, ending up by recalling the occasions in which he crossed paths with the forward, both as a rival in derbies, and as a teammate in the national team.
"Rafa, for me, is a different player in our championship. When Sporting plays with Benfica, for me, he is the most difficult player to control. He plays both on the left and on the right, in the space between the lines, it is difficult for the defender to have a fixed mark", he began by saying, in statements quoted in the printed edition of the newspaper A Bola this Tuesday.
"Due to the history he has at Benfica, the titles he has won, the numbers he has, the consistency even at a physical level, with few injuries, Rafa has many games under his belt, season after season", added one of the captains of Sporting.
"I had the pleasure of sharing moments with him in the national team, although in Portugal, in the eyes of the fans, we are not allowed much closeness between players from rival clubs. The truth is that I have good memories of him in the national team. He was a player that we recognise when he is a star and he is one of the stars that Portugal has", completed Neto.
