Sergio Ramos set to leave Sevilla to 'follow in Messi's footsteps'
Spanish international would be in "advanced negotiations" with San Diego FC.

Sergio Ramos has reportedly made the decision to leave Sevilla, the club where he completed his training and to which he returned less than a year ago after an 'adventure' that proved to be less than happy, at the service of Paris Saint-Germain.
According to information provided this Tuesday by the North American portal The Athletic, the Spanish international is in "advanced negotiations" with San Diego FC, and could follow in the footsteps of Lionel Messi and company, heading to the United States of America.
The 38-year-old player has other proposals from other championships in his hands, but at the moment, everything seems to be on track for him to become the first 'thundering' reinforcement for the team that will debut in the MLS in 2025.
The central defender would be integrated as a "designated player", which means that he could earn amounts higher than those dictated by the salary cap of the top tier of North American football.
