There's a Portuguese in Saudi Arabia with an eye on Rafa Silva... and it's not Jesus
Portuguese forward prepares to leave Benfica after eight consecutive seasons at Luz.

Just like Alejandro Grimaldo, Rafa Silva is getting ready to leave Benfica at the end of eight seasons, at the end of this season, for free, and there is no shortage of clubs interested in the Portuguese forward.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, one of Rafa Silva's potential destinations is Al-Shabab, managed by Vítor Pereira, after the forward's name - who resigned from the national team in 2022 - was associated with the champion Al Hilal, led by Jorge Jesus.
According to the same publication, Domenico Teti, sporting director of the Riyadh club, has been in permanent contact with Muhammed Al-Munajem with a view to Rafa Silva moving to Saudi Arabia, precisely after what was his best individual season in terms of goals and assists.
It should be recalled that the 30-year-old forward may still play for Benfica on the last matchday of the I League, against Rio Ave, thus ending his eighth and final season at the service of the eagles, after having already bid farewell to Luz last Sunday, in the rout against Arouca (5-0).
