The Liga Portugal announced, this Wednesday, that Tiago Margarido was elected the best coach of the month in the II Liga, an award referring to the past month of April, something he had already won in October/November.
The 35-year-old coach saw Nacional confirm their promotion to the I Liga last Saturday, as a result of the victory over Tondela (2-3) and also the slip of AVS against Leixões (0-0), now fighting for the champion title in the last round, as well as the already promoted Santa Clara.
As a result of the three triumphs and the draw achieved in the past month of April, Tiago Margarido collected 32.68% of the votes from the competition coaches and thus surpassed the competition of Hélder Cristóvão, from Penafiel, with 18.95%, as well as Fábio Pereira, from Marítimo, with 15.69% of the votes.
