U-turn. Tuchel ponders 'imitating' Xavi and staying at Bayern Munich
The coach's agent was "caught" in conversations with the Bavarian management.

A U-turn in the 'soap opera' surrounding the future of Bayern Munich's coach, which has been going on for almost two months, since Thomas Tuchel made public his decision to leave the post at the end of the current season, may be in sight.
The German newspaper Bild published images on Wednesday showing a meeting at the Bavarians' training complex between sporting director Christoph Freund and Olaf Meinking, the agent...of Thomas Tuchel himself, where the possibility of him backing down and staying at the club was reportedly discussed.
The same publication adds that the German structure is currently in favour of the coach's continuity, especially after the 'no's' given by Ralph Rangnick (from Austria), Julian Nagelsmann (from Germany) and Xabi Alonso (from Bayer Leverkusen).
Thomas Tuchel has also reportedly shown his willingness to continue in the role next season, in a situation similar in all respects to that recently experienced by Xavi Hernández and Barcelona.
