Kroos assumes that Real Madrid was favored against Bayern Munich

Toni Kroos admitted, this Wednesday, in a conversation with his brother, Felix, on the podcast 'Einfach mal Luppen', that Real Madrid benefited in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals, against Bayern Munich.
"It's mismanagement. You have to let the play go on. I think the mistake is, above all, the assistant's", he said, referring to a move that was interrupted by Szymon Marciniak, in the final moments, for an alleged offside by Matthijs de Ligt, not even allowing the VAR to reassess it.
"If he raises the flag, at that moment, the referee assumes that the assistant saw it exactly that way, and trusts that there is probably a three-meter offside. The anger is justified, because you have to let the situation continue until the end", he added.
The meringues, it should be recalled, would end up winning the tie, by an aggregate score of 4-3, so that, if validated, that goal would probably have allowed the Bavarians to postpone the decision, at least for extra time.
