Santa Clara-União de Leiria's revenue reverts to the Firefighters
The proceeds from the Santa Clara-União de Leiria game, from the 34th round of the Portuguese football league II, will be donated to the Ponta Delgada Volunteer Firefighters, announced today the executive director of the Azores SAD, Klauss Câmara.

Next Sunday, Santa Clara will host União de Leiria, a match in which each ticket will cost one euro, with the total amount going to the Ponta Delgada Volunteer Firefighters, who recently fought the fire at the Hospital do Divino Espírito Santo.
"The season's main goal, which was to return to the I League, has already been achieved, but this is a special match that is worth the II League title. Under normal conditions, we could open the gates to the public to be with us, but the administration understands that it would be very important to join forces with the true heroes", said the CEO of the Azorean SAD, at the end of a visit to the Ponta Delgada Volunteer Firefighters barracks.
Klauss Câmara revealed that 5 thousand tickets have already been sold for the decisive duel and appealed to even more fans "to join this cause".
"We recently had a fire in which the firefighters, with great bravery, were there. Santa Clara will revert all the sales from that match to be able to collaborate in the purchase of equipment and all the material that we can contribute", he stressed.
The match between Santa Clara and União de Leiria is scheduled to start at 3:30 pm local time (4:30 pm in Lisbon), with the Azoreans only depending on themselves to be champions of the second division, since they have two more points than the second-placed team, Nacional, which, at the same time, hosts Mafra.
