Petro, by Alexandre Santos, draws with 1.º de Agosto and leads the Girabola
Petro de Luanda, trained by the Portuguese Alexandre Santos, resumed the leadership of the Angolan football championship today, after a 0-0 draw with 1.º de Agosto, in a late game of the 16th round.

With the 'draw' in the Angolan football derby, Petro now has 54 points at the top of the Girabola, one more than Sagrada Esperança, the runner-up.
The Angolan champions still have a game in arrears, against Santa Rita de Cássia, scheduled for May 22, but before that they will face Kabuscorp do Palanca, in the game of the 27th round.
In the other game in arrears, from the 24th round, Académica do Lobito beat Bravos do Maquis by 1-0, with a goal by Tchubila, in the 88th minute.
Benarfa (Kabuscorp do Palanca) leads the list of top scorers, with 14 goals, followed by Mussá (Desportivo da Lunda Sul), who has 12.
