Palmeiras, by Abel Ferreira, goes to the 'round of 16' of the Libertadores Cup

Palmeiras, coached by Abel Ferreira, qualified, at dawn from Wednesday to Thursday, for the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores. This was the eighth consecutive qualification of the São Paulo club for this stage of the competition.
The São Paulo team defeated Independiente del Valle, from Ecuador, by 2-1, and already knows that it will not fall from the leadership of group F of this group stage.
Richard Rios (36') and Gustavo Gómez (45'+3, from a penalty) scored the goals for Palmeiras, while Lautaro Díaz scored the goal of honor for the Ecuadorians (64').
With this result, Palmeiras secures the leadership with 13 points. San Lorenzo and Independiente del Valle both have four points, but the Argentines have one less game than the Ecuadorians.
