Como's Megalomaniacal Plan on Serie A Return Includes... Modric and Icardi

21 years later, Como returned to Serie A and promises to strongly attack the transfer market next summer so as not to fall again from the top tier of Italian football at the end of next season.
In this regard, the newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport revealed this Thursday that the club from northern Italy has a plan outlined to aim for more than just fighting for permanence.
The idea of the Hartono family, one of Como's investors, is to hire experienced players, namely Italians, or those who have already played in Serie A in recent years.
With this path defined, the Italian team will analyze the possible signings of Mauro Icardi, Joaquín Correa, Luka Modric, Loris Karius and Pedro Rodríguez.
In addition to potential signings, the idea is for Patrick Cutrone, Simone Verdi and Oliver Abildgaard, who are part of the current squad, to remain in the Como ranks.
