Abel comments on the suspension of the Brazilian Championship: "I won't say what I think..."

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced, on Wednesday night, the suspension of the Brazilian Championship for the next two rounds, due to the floods that hit the state of Rio Grande do Sul. A decision that was commented on by Abel Ferreira.
Confronted with the subject, the Palmeiras coach says he was surprised by the decision.
"The manager is to manage and the coach is to coach. The most important thing is the aid to the people of Rio Grande do Sul. Not having the players against Atlético Mineiro is what there is. I will not say what I think, sometimes it is better to remain silent", stressed Abel Ferreira, at a press conference after the victory over Independiente del Valle.
"It seems easy to be in the Libertadores, to conquer what we conquered, to be in a very difficult group and to continue to do what we did. To congratulate our players and know their capacity. Some try to destabilize our players, our team. Internally we have to talk to the players, talk among ourselves. Palmeiras continues to win", he concluded.
