The penultimate round of the I Liga was marked by two exciting comebacks - at the D. Afonso Henriques and at the Dragão - which spiced up the I Liga podium's accounts, something that aroused the curiosity of Desporto ao Minuto in trying to understand who is, after all, the king of the comebacks in the Portuguese championship. Sporting assumes this throne in the percentage metrics, but the 'champion' is... Sporting de Braga. Assessing the points won by each of the 18 teams on the occasions when they were losing, Sporting - already with the national champion title won - holds the best percentage of recoveries (77.8%), however, when it comes to points won in such contexts, it is Sporting de Braga who smiles with a wide margin, given that they obtained 29 of their 68 points in response to a disadvantage. In 33 rounds played, Rúben Amorim's team only knew what it was like to be losing in nine and, even so, they came out winning in five (55.6%) and scoring in seven (77.8%), being the team that was least often in a disadvantage scenario and that, even so, won 17 points. The runner-up Benfica was losing in ten rounds, ending up turning around in four (40%) and scoring in six (60%), taking 14 points in such scenarios. FC Porto, which will still fight directly with Sporting de Braga for the last podium place, added the same 17 points as its rival Sporting, after being at a disadvantage on 13 occasions - in five (38.5%) it won and in seven (53.8%) it took points.
