Barcelona adds three more points, but João Félix remains 'at zero'

Barcelona beat Almería on Thursday and held onto second place in the La Liga table. On this 36th matchday, the Catalans are four points ahead of third-placed Girona. Two unanswered goals were enough. Fermín López scored twice in the match.
João Félix and João Cancelo came on towards the end of the game, while goalkeeper Luís Maximiano started for the bottom-placed team in La Liga.
Fermín Lopez was named man of the match after scoring two goals. The Barcelona midfielder scored the first goal of the game, assisted by young full-back Hector Fort. Lopez is 21 years old.
After that first goal, scored in the 14th minute, Lopez scored again in the 67th minute, assisted by Sergi Roberto. With the game under control, João Félix was brought on for the last fifteen minutes. He had a chance to score, but his shot went wide, and he put his hands to his head. Félix hasn't scored in a month.

The Catalan team has 76 points, in second place, and is within reach of Girona and Atlético Madrid, with 75 and 73 points, respectively. Therefore, winning is almost essential for Xavi's men.
