Ricardo Soares is defeated and Beijing Guoan is at risk of losing the podium

Beijing Guoan's unbeaten run of six consecutive matches came to an end on Friday afternoon, with a 3-2 defeat at Changchun City Stadium against Changchun Yatai.
Brazilian Serginho was particularly 'inspired', and after breaking the deadlock in the fourth minute, he assisted Guilherme Marques' goal in the 32nd minute. As for the response from the team led by Portuguese coach Ricardo Soares, it belonged to the Portuguese-Angolan Fábio Abreu, after half an hour of play.
In the 90+3rd minute, Fábio Abreu did it again... but the visitors' celebration did not last long, since just five minutes later, Peter Zulj converted the penalty that sealed the final result.
With this result, Beijing Guoan remains with the same 24 points, which leaves them in third position, tied with Shanghai Port (which has two matches in arrears) and Shandong Taishan.
Changchun Yatai, on the other hand, now has 11 points after 12 rounds, which allows them to climb to 11th position in the top tier of Chinese football.
