A great party atmosphere is expected in Alvalade. Sporting, already with the national champion title, is preparing to receive the already relegated Desportivo de Chaves, with the aim of ending the championship with 90 points and thus taking advantage of the 'momentum' for the final of the Portuguese Cup, against FC Porto.

In a game that will be of farewells for players like Luis Neto and Antonio Adán, Rúben Amorim's team wants to end the I Liga in style, with 17 wins in 17 rounds played in the 'kingdom' of the lions, against an opponent who plays only for honor, in an attempt to leave the last position of the championship - something that still depends on the result of the also already 'condemned' Vizela.

Sporting is only thinking about showing the national champion trophy to the public of Alvalade, but it is also keeping an eye on the 'double', since, in about a week, it will have to measure its strength in the dispute of the Portuguese Cup, in an exciting Classic against FC Porto, at the Jamor Stadium.

The game is scheduled to start at 6 pm (mainland Portugal time), in Alvalade, with Manuel Oliveira refereeing, and you can follow the incidents of the match, live, on Desporto ao Minuto.

Coaches in direct speech

Rúben Amorim

Return to Alvalade in celebration: "Few teams have managed to win all their home games, and that's a mark this one leaves. Then, we want to reward all the support of our fans and make the party more beautiful. The best preparation to win the next game is to win and play well, we will try to do that. Also take advantage of this last day to, for example, say goodbye to very important players in this journey. These are cycles that happen. Neto will play his last game in Alvalade. About Neto, I've talked so much that it's not worth talking about his importance anymore. Antonio Adán. It is, perhaps, the most difficult part of being a coach, and one of the reasons for wanting to go somewhere else, so as not to make these decisions, and I made it. Alvalade will say goodbye to Antonio. We are aware that we are only here because we were champions in the first year, it gave a different stability, and, without Antonio, we would not be champions."

Last home game?: "I'm Sporting's coach, nothing has changed. I can't guarantee that I'll be alive tomorrow. What the coach wants is to stay at Sporting, to move forward. We have been preparing for next season for a long time, that is the focus. The idea is to stay at Sporting. We are working towards that."

Expected eleven: "Pinto, Esgaio, Neto, Coates, Inácio, Nuno Santos, Morita, Hjulmand, Victor [Gyokeres], Trincão and Pote will play. It will be tomorrow's team. Antonio [Adán] cannot play, he is injured. What I want is for people to have a moment according to the importance they had in the club. I want everyone to say goodbye to them and know that we are very grateful for what they did."

Moreno Teixeira:

Analysis of the champion Sporting: "They want to reach 90 points, they want to break the record for goals scored, all this makes us realize that we are going to face a Sporting equal to what it has been throughout the year, the best team in our championship, a fair champion and, from there, we realize that we are going to have difficulties."

Representing a club like Desportivo de Chaves: "We have a weight, we represent a region, a club with fantastic people, I repeat this, fantastic professionals, who do not let us lack anything. For this reason, more than the question of being able to move up a place [in the table], which is also important, we have to present ourselves in Alvalade with all the rigor, with all the professionalism."

Future towards the II League?: "My future, my concern, is tomorrow's game [Saturday], after that, there will be news, certainly. My contract was never a problem, knowing that there was a lot of mistrust in relation to what the technical team can do, based on the results throughout the year, even I distrust what was done, it is normal in these contexts of division relegation. It is in this way, seriously, head-on, that I will have the conversation that I think I should have with those responsible."
