14 years and 29 days. Youngster makes history against Lionel Messi's former team

Mateo Apololonio made history in Argentina's professional football in the early hours of this Friday, when he signed his debut for Deportivo Riestra's main team with only 14 years and 29 days, in the defeat against Newell's Old Boys (0-1), in the access to the 'round of 16' of the Argentina Cup.
The young player from the Buenos Aires team entered the game at 85 minutes and, despite not having avoided the elimination against Lionel Messi's former team, he ended up registering an unprecedented record in his country, giving much to talk about all over the world when he revealed the contours that preceded the historical milestone.
"I was in the living room of my house, I went upstairs and my father was crying. I didn't understand anything, but then he told me that I had been called up to the main team. I was nervous all day and shaking a lot, of course", confessed the young left-back", he said in statements to the newspaper Ole.
Mateo Apolonio surpassed Kun Aguero's record, set when he debuted in 2003, with the Independiente jersey, at the time with 15 years and 35 days.
