Two months later, Quincy Promes is released on parole

Quincy Promes was released on bail on Friday, two months after being detained by Dubai authorities following a traffic accident involving a rental vehicle.
The Dutch international was in the country to participate in a training camp organized by his club, Spartak Moscow, and was unable to leave after failing to reach an agreement on compensation for the damage caused, which remains unresolved.
According to information provided by the Dutch newspaper Het Parool, the 32-year-old player will now have to comply with a series of conditions, including the obligation to answer all calls from the authorities and not to leave the country.
This case is running in parallel with another in the Netherlands, where in February he was sentenced to an effective six-year prison term for his alleged involvement in a drug trafficking scheme.
The Netherlands recently requested Dubai to extradite the forward, a request that was not accepted, so it remains to be seen whether he will serve this sentence.
